NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme):

The National Disability Insurance Scheme helps people with a disability to achieve their goals outline in their NDIS plan. Centacare is registered to provide services under the NDIS in:Disability Outreach Services:

Bago Magic

Bago Magic is a performance and arts group for people with and without disabilities. At Bago Magic you can make new friends, build relationships and develop talents and passion for theatre, dance and other art forms. 

Early Links Wauchope Playgroup

Playgroup provides a fun enjoyable atmosphere for parents to socialise, meet new people and relax whilst they watch their children play, learn, explore and make new friends.

Family Support Network

The Family Support Network provides support and parenting skills development to parents at the earliest opportunity, helping to build family resilience via a range of one on one or group program activities.

My Time Support Group

My Time is a support group for parents and carers of children with a disability or chronic medical condition. My Time is a place to socialise, get information and to support and be supported by other carers.

Community Options Program:

Provides a comprehensive case management service to people with a disability and their carer, supporting them to be more independent at home and in the community, preventing premature or inappropriate admission to long term residential care.

Individual Support Options:

Provides people with a disability and their families and carers greater opportunity to create a good life, build sustainable networks and person centred living arrangements.


Offers supported accommodation for adults with intellectual and physical disabilities that have medium to high support needs.

Aboriginal Intensive Family Support Services:

Provides short-term, intensive and flexible in home support to families that have a child with a disability, where there is a risk of out-of-home placement and/or family breakdown.

Transition to Work:

Assists school –leavers with moderate to high support needs to develop a range of skills to make a smooth transition from school to work or further education.

Employment Enablement Program:

Provides a person centred service to support with an intellectual disability to develop skills, qualifications and confidence necessary to achieve their employment goals. Participants are support to obtain employment and receive on the job training and support in the early phases of that employment.

Centacare Housing Program:

Provides long term accommodation for people with a disability and those disadvantaged within the community.

Early Links:

Provides support to Indigenous children ages 0 to 9 to develop and grow in the early years of childhood by linking to a vital medical and local services.

Kempsey Workpool:

Provides a range of day program opportunities for people with a disability to participate in their community and enjoy a range of purposeful, recreational and leisure activities.
