Catholic Education Week has ushered in a wave of excitement in Wauchope, at our neighbouring Parish, to celebrate the week’s themes of kindness, community, and innovation.
During this year’s Catholic Education Week, year 10 Creative Arts students from St Joseph’s Regional College joined their peers at St Joseph’s Primary Wauchope on Tuesday 9th April to contribute to a real-life professional photo and video shoot that will be used in future marketing campaigns by the primary school.
This partnership between affiliated schools provides an opportunity for teens to work along-side, and learn from a local professional photographer. They are a testament to the Catholic Education’s faith-based learning by showing kindness to their younger primary peers and showcasing their creativity.
“Involving teenage students in real-world projects offers them invaluable hands-on experience, nurtures their creativity, and strengthens the connections between the Catholic schools”, said Stephen Pares, Regional Services Leader, Hastings Region. “It’s a vivid demonstration of the dedication to providing students with comprehensive opportunities.”
