You can be part of this incredible effort

Parish Priest Fr Paul and five incredible parish ocean swimmers have joined forces to fight the evil work of cancer. Together with prayer and endurance, the power of cancer is being challenged big time.

Susan Eichorn (MacKillop College), Millie Letori (Parish Administration), Nicki Gray (MacKillop College), Beth Anderson (St Agnes’ Care & Lifestyle – Pastoral Care) and Leanne Germain (St Joseph’s Primary School) are part of the incredible Port Macquarie Can Too Seadragons Pod of 26 locals, who completed a two kilometre ocean swim as part of a 14 week Can Too fundraising program.

You can join these ‘Incredibles’ by helping them reach their $10,000 fundraising target by 30 June.

‘It is difficult to ask for money in this climate but now, more than ever, we need your support to take on the incredible enemy cancer’, says Beth Anderson.

‘We’re reaching out to you, our amazing parish and community, to help fill the gap with as little as $20.’

‘Our aim is to inspire and support the community to achieve health, fitness, wellbeing, fundraising goals and invest in research to better prevent, diagnose, and treat cancer,’ she adds.

The CanToo Foundation is an independent health promotion charity committed to funding cancer research. In return for professionally coached training programs, participants like us fundraise much needed support for Australian cancer research to fund the most brilliant, innovative early career cancer researchers.

If you would like to participate in the next ‘Incredibles’ challenge as part of this 14 week program or would like more information about the Can Too program, please contact one of the Seadragons.
