Government-funded support for lower-level care and everyday tasks, helping you stay independent and connected at home.

Government-funded care available for those with higher or ongoing needs, offering coordinated support while you remain at home.

Self-funded care available immediately. Often used to bridge the gap while waiting for government-funded services to commence.

At St Joseph’s Family Services, we operate three trusted early education centres across Port Macquarie. Each centre provides safe, nurturing environments where children can learn, play, and grow, guided by our experienced educators and rooted in our not-for-profit mission.

Both St Agnes’ Home and Emmaus Home offer compassionate, 24/7 care. The right choice depends on your loved one’s needs and preferences. Our friendly admissions team will meet with you, discuss options, and help guide you to the home that best supports comfort, wellbeing, and connection.
We provide permanent care, planned respite care, and emergency respite care across both homes.
Choosing a residential aged care home for yourself or a loved one is an important step.

Before applying, please ensure you have the following documents ready:
As part of the application process, you will be asked to source a GP that can continue the care of your loved one while in our care. This is a requirement of entry.
St Agnes’ Catholic Parish operates a GP clinic; however, there is currently an extensive waitlist.
When you have your key documents ready, you can submit your application online using our short application form or contact our admissions team to start the application process.
If you or your loved one is in hospital, the hospital discharge planner may be able to assist with this step.
