SELECTION CRITERIA
• Commitment to work in harmony with Catholic Values and Principles
• A genuine interest in and compassion for the aged,
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team,
• Ability to observe accurately and follow directions precisely,
• Competent computer and keyboard skills,
• Flexibility to be able to work a range of shifts during the week and weekends
• 18/55 Care Service Employees (care) also require:
o Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care – desirable
• 18/56 Care Service Employees (ancillary) also require:
o Food handling and/or cleaning experience
o Certificate II in Hospitality – desirable
• 18/57 Home Care Employees also require:
o Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care – desirable
o Working with Children Clearance, First Aid Certificate, Drivers Licence and own registered, comprehensively vehicle suitable to transport elderly clients
• 18/58 Registered Nurses also require:
o Current AHPRA registration
o Current knowledge of Australian Aged Care Quality Standards, accreditation requirements, WHS legislation and the principles of aged and resident / client legislation
