Due to weather events earlier this month which presented challenges to our construction timeline, the opening of Emmaus Village and the Community Open Day has been delayed.

Despite the challenges, particularly regarding the carpark and community centre, other areas of construction are speeding along, with the finishing touches being put on the houses. Many members of the Emmaus Village team have said they are envious of the homes – and it’s easy to see why!

As landscaping starts to wrap up, precinct totems created by Bennett Steel and Home Companion Lead, Kate Koivu, are being installed. These totems will assist residents with orientation and decision-making when navigating around the Village.
