‘Empowered to Excellence’ is Parish value in focus for 2025
This year’s value in focus, ‘Empowered to Excellence’, was chosen by Parish Priest, Fr Paul Gooley, and CEO, Tony Leahy because:
- The Catholic Church is celebrating a Holy Year in 2025, the Jubilee of Hope. It is hope that inspires us to strive for positive outcomes in our service of others and in all we do. As Pope Francis writes, “Everyone knows what it is to hope. In the heart of each person, hope dwells as the desire and expectation of good things to come, despite our not knowing what the future may bring”.
- Quite a few of our services celebrated successful audit results last year and this theme of excellence is fitting recognition of that achievement.
- St Agnes’ Catholic Parish is committed to continuous improvement and many employees are involved projects dedicated to this in 2025.
