Last Thursday, 10 August, the Port Macquarie Youth and Community Hub teamed up with other local organisations to bring extra awareness to Homelessness Week in our community by offering extra support opportunities to those who need it including:

• Free breakfast supplied by M.A.D @ 7am
• Emergency food, clothing and toiletries
• Delicious free lunch supplied by Offtherayles
• Free haircuts with TAFE Port Macquarie
• Live music
• Cost of living support with Mid North Coast Legal Centre
• Showers and laundry facilities
• Flu shots, blood borne virus testing
• Centrelink appointments with Indigenous Service Officer and Community Engagement Officer

St Agnes’ Catholic Parish has developed strong partnerships with other local providers to offer ‘Our Place’ at the Hub every second Thursday. It is a one stop shop, which supplements the daily support given to vulnerable members of our community.
