Joey’s House supporting our Koalas
In recent months our local community has been affected by bush fires which has taken a devastating toll on our koala population. Joey’s Early Education Centre found this as an opportunity to broaden community connections and invited the Koala Hospital to come and visit the centre.
The Koala hospital showed the children the vital role they play in caring for those sick and injured koalas and as a result Joey’s House are hoping to adopt a koala. The koala would be one the permanently lives at the hospital because of circumstances which would unable the koala to be released back into its natural habitat.
Joey’s House would also like to donate $15 towards the planting of a food tree. This donation will help nourish koalas in the future and help reduces Australia’s carbon footprint.
In order to do this Joey’s House are taking gold coin donations at their front desk of their centre.
