St Agnes’ Catholic Parish Secondary Schools (SAPSS) Drumline travelled to Villanova College in Brisbane to complete in the Queensland Catholic Music Festival on 17-20 August. Throughout their travels, they visited St John Paul College in Coffs Harbour, Mount St Patrick’s in Murwillumbah and Ormiston State Public School for performances. They concluded the tour with an evening performance at the Big4 Gold Coast Holiday Park.

Prior to travelling to Queensland, the SAPSS Senior Drumline competed in the National Drumline Competition which saw them named National Champions for the 6th consecutive year.

Port Macquarie Brumbies (Junior Drumline) (Division B):

• 4th Place Test Piece
• 2nd Place Own Choice
• 2nd Place in Division B

Queensland Catholic Music Festival (QCMF)

Drumline A Division:

• Gold Award

Drumline B Division:

• Silver Award
• Special Award for our Bass Drum Section

Percussion Ensemble A Division:

• MacKillop Senior Percussion Ensemble – Bronze Award
