At the gathering of our parish family for Mass at 5pm Mass last Sunday (17 July), Fr Paul gave Sarah Jennings, Chloe Nash, Zackary Bennett, Thomas McGhee and Emily Burg a special blessing before they embark on their World Youth Day pilgrimage this Sunday 23 July. Along with Benedicta Udianto (who was not able to be at this Mass) these young adults will represent St Agnes’ Catholic Parish, amongst the more than 3, 000 Australian pilgrims who will attend the event in Lisbon, Portugal.

Over 400,000 young people from across the World will join together in a celebration of youth, an expression of the universal Church, and a powerful moment of evangelisation for the world of youth. There will be many moments of prayer, worship, and celebration. We wish them well on this exciting adventure of faith!
