During term 3, a highlight for the children at St Joseph’s Preschool and Long Day Care has been watching the airplanes fly over the preschool.

Cam who is the dad of one of the children at the preschool, Dominic, came into the preschool to talk to the children about his job as a pilot. The children were so excited when Cam arrived in his pilot uniform and Cam very generously organised for the children to visit a local airport hangar and see an airplane up close.

Cam also showed some photos of the plane that he usually fly’s and read the children a story where they learned all about the parts of a plane and what makes them fly.

Dominic’s Grandma also brought along her Ukulele and everyone were able to sing songs about flying and fly around the room before it was time to catch the bus back to Preschool.
