Congratulations to the members of the new PPC who were blessed and commissioned at Mass last Sunday (6 August) by Fr Roland on behalf of Fr Paul – Daniel Barakat, Matthew Bushe, Therese Freeman, Shane Hyland, Elizabeth Johnson, Tess Koning, Tony McAlister, Zac Parnell, Debbie Rennes, and Brigitte Rieger who will join ex officio Council members Fr Paul (Parish Priest), Tony Worner (Leader of Formation), and Frs Roland Agrisola and Prodencio Bognay (Assistant Priests). After Mass and morning tea, the group had a day of formation led by Richard McMahon and Lisa Bright from Synodal Consulting, who have been facilitating our Season of Renewal.

Fr Paul, who could not be there on the day, gave a heartfelt ‘thank you’ via video to the members of the Pastoral Renewal Team (Annemarie Murphy, Beth Flynn, Chloe Nash, Debbie Rennes, Jim O’Brien, Neethu Augustine, Shane Hyland, Megan Barber, Tess Koning and Tony Worner) who were involved in much of the preparatory work for the Parish’s Season of Renewal; to Lisa Bright and Richard McMahon from Synodal Consulting for assisting the Parish in bringing to life the heartbeat of renewal in our community; and, to everyone who has participated in or supported the renewal in any way over the past 9 months – offering prayers, asking questions, attending events, being part of renewal groups, or engaging in Pastoral Council discernment process.
