Staff celebrate Long Service Awards

The weather was beautiful on the evening of 25 March 2026, as we came together to celebrate our Long Service Awards. It was a wonderful night recognising the people who have given so much of their time, energy, and heart to our Parish and schools over the years.

The evening began with Mass celebrated by Parish Priest, Fr Paul Gooley, and Fr Prodencio Bognay, a lovely moment to reflect and give thanks for the dedication of our staff. After Mass, we moved into the awards ceremony, where we celebrated milestones from 10 years of service right up to 30+ years. The night finished with supper, giving everyone a chance to catch up, share stories, and enjoy each other’s company.

A highlight of the night was celebrating our very own Deputy CEO, Anne O’Brien, who has devoted an incredible 35 years to our community. Anne’s commitment and guidance have touched many lives, and it was wonderful to recognise her remarkable contribution.

These milestones are about more than just the years, reflecting relationships built, lives touched, and a deep commitment to the work we do every day. Our long-serving staff bring so much experience, compassion, and stability to our Parish and schools, making a real difference every single day.

It was a night full of smiles, gratitude, and pride. Seeing colleagues come together to celebrate each other reminded us all of the quiet, everyday dedication that leaves such a lasting mark on our community.

To all our award recipients, thank you. Your service, loyalty, and heart are at the very heart of what makes our Parish so special.
