Three Parishes participate in Images of Jesus Virtual Learning course
Thirteen parishioners from Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, Alstonville, Macleay Valley Catholic Parish and St Agnes’ Catholic Parish are participating in a Virtual Learning Community for Faith Formation (VLCFF) course called ‘Images of Jesus’. The five-week course is being facilitated online by Julie Worch who lives in Illinois, USA, holds a Masters in Religious Education and is a Certified Professional Spiritual Director.
Through this course, which is being run especially for the three parishes, the participants are examining what we know and believe about Jesus, the central figure of the Christian faith and arguably the most influential person who ever walked the earth.
Access to the VLCFF is made possible by a partnership between the Lismore Diocese and the University of Dayton in Ohio, USA which has provided religious education and faith formation for adults online for over 20 years.
Thank you to Tony Worner, Leader of Formation at St Agnes’ Catholic Parish and Diocesan Coordinator of the VLCFF, for organising this opportunity to learn more about Jesus with other people from our Diocese. Learn more about the VLCFF here
