Wishing Fr Roland all the best for his new appointment
Bishop Greg Homeming announced in late May that Fr Roland Agrisola would be moving to the Lower Clarence Parish (made up of the communities of Maclean, Yamba and Iluka) as Administrator of that parish. He began his new role on 24 June.
From morning teas to 40th birthday celebrations held in his honour, it was great to see Parishioners and friends take the opportunity to wish Fr Roland well over the last few weeks.
On his departure Fr Roland said, ‘During my time here, I have met many good and holy parishioners. Your faith has been an inspiration to me. I have grown as a person and as a priest; you were part of it. Please continue supporting me with your prayers, faith, and love.’
After arriving at St Agnes’ Catholic Parish in 2016 as Assistant Priest under Fr Leo Donnelly, Fr Roland left us for a couple of years to further his Theological studies in the United States (2018-2021) before returning to Port Macquarie.
Thank you, Fr Roland, for your contribution to the life of our Parish – we wish you every blessing as you continue your priestly ministry.
